My force shop manual only lists a pressure test of 10psi for 5 minutes. I was always taught to pressure and vacuum test, usually the psi and Hg" were the same values. Is there a value for inches of vacuum? Or is the vacuum test no longer necessary on somewhat newer outboards? Any help will...
Looking for a lower unit seal kit and hopefully a water pump kit as well since the lower unit will be off. Any ideas where to go for parts?

Helping a friend with his new boat. He was told the outboard is a 1985 (serial is 6433329 which appears to be an 84), supposedly the stator was replaced just before he purchased the boat. Motor was running on 1&2 no spark on 3&4. Swapped coils 1 & 4, problem switched to 1 and 3 had spark 2...
