I recently purchased a used Yamaha 30hp 2 stroke. Previous owner bought the motor with the boat and has no operating / workshop manual. He was told it is a 1999 model but there is no sticker on the transom clamp. Is there any other number stamped anywhere on the engine that could provide a clue...
