I have a 1992 Waco 1436. I am worried about putting a new engine on it. The weight bothers me. I already have a 1980 Merc 25 on it but she is tired.
If you where in my shoes what would you do?

I have been running this engine for about 5 months with no issues til now.
I pulled the plugs and when I turn it over with a plug in the wire i do not see a spark. I tried a new plug just to eliminate that. Cleaned where the wires go into the coils. S now I am thinking maybe a coil or...
I have a 1968 Johnson 5hp. Where does the water pee out the back at? I have ran it for two to three minutes with no water coming out. I feel the block and it is not getting hot so I am confused a little. If so need a little help with where the impeller would be located.

Does the lean to rich knob work the same a idle mixture screw or do you have to keep playing with it? I would think that once it was set I should be able to leave it alone.

I have a Tillotson BC1A that I don't think is pumping fuel. Since the fuel pump is part of the carb I cannot just pull a line loose and see if it is pumping. The engine runs fine if I pump the bulb. I hear it idle up just like it would be loosing fuel and leaning out.

Ok I have a 1980 Merc 25hp. I was cleaning the carb and the needle fell apart on me. I have been looking for the part on mercury express and other sites and it appears it is not available. Where can i get one from?
PS. the repair kit does not come with it.

Just picked up a older merc. I was told it was a 25hp. the SN is 5787647. I could not find this serial number on any 25hp range parts web site that gave me a MFR date.. Any help would be great.

I just recently bought a 5hp Honda, the older blue one's, and I have a couple questions!
1. Does the oil light always stay or is there something wrong?
2. What fitting do I need for the fuel line at the engine? Is it a standard type or a honda only?

I started my boat today and I heard a rod knocking. I would like to rebuild it but I am also looking for a place to maybe purchase one for a reasonable price. If you could help point me in a good direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry Had a dumb moment! here is the engine...
I have a 200 evinrude on a bass boat. I want to know if these engines normally have a charging system to charge the cranking battery. Mine does not appear to and my procharger has gone bad so looking for a little help.
