    omc tru-course steering

    At speed my tru-course steering is very hard to turn to starboard; turning to port is very easy. At idle there is no difference in the effort to turn port or starboard, both are very easy. Any ideas?

    I have a 1978 OMC model 990255H. tHIS IS A 225 HP motor. how do i tell if it is a Ford or GM?:confused:
