I have a 2001 5HP Mercury 2 cycle outboard that I use on my detachable floating dock (which is a 20' Pontoon boat with 2x6 decking on it). The motor has an 8" pitch prop and doesen't develop enough rpm. I understand mercury made two 6" pitch props, as well as a 7" & the 8" for this engine.
