    I have a 1964 mercury 850-e outboard. When I start the motor up cold after bulb priming the carbs it takes maybe seven attemps to get the motor running.     1964 mercury outboard won't pee

    I just bought a 1964 mercury outboard 6cyl 850-e and it won't pee but side of the engine still feels cool , are these motors suppose to pee? I have also replaced the impeller.
