    hydraulic trim line

    Mercruiser alpha ford 233 hp 1977 outdrive. The "gray" hydraulic hose that runs from the trim sender to the "connector" broke. I cannot see the "connector" (connector is the term used where I purchased a new line). Is it at the bottom of the transom plate? If so, what is inolved in replacing it...

    outdrive kicks out of gear

    sometimes, when in rough water (2-4's) the outdrive seems to come out of gear - the shift lever has not moved, but the engine revs up and forward progress is halted. If I shift to neutral, then forward, everything then works ok.<br />Is it possible the shift cable is not adjusted correctly and...
