    Engine misfires

    Can any body tell me any benifits gained by CDI ignition over Points condencer systems?<br />The cost for CDI is ten times that of points, but is it ten times better?<br />Remember water and electric ------- :(

    model / serial No

    Hi, I have a Yamaha 55hp 2 cylinder 2 stroke outboard. Its dark blue in colour and the cowl is white red and blue. The serial and model No plate is very corroded to the point it can not be read. I know I should have made a note of it a year or so ago. My local dealer says without these numbers...
