Can anyone give me some insight on the drive unit. Is it hard to rebuild? A tow line was sucked up into the impeller, now I have no thrust. (line has been cleared) Shaft turns free so the gears may have been damaged. But I'm "afeared" of what I might get into. Thank you.
A guy gave me this boat because he sucked up a tow line and now has no propulsion. the motor runs fine, the impeller shaft turns free (by hand) with very little noise. Something is broken, DUH, does anyone have any ideas on what it might be?
