Sorry to make this long but I want to go through the details.
I took my boat, with mercrusier 5.0, out to the lake i had just replaced all the belts and hoses on it. After about 15 min. of running i smelled burning checked temp. about 160. I cut motor opened it up right side manifold extremely...
I'm trying to find out what what out drive I have. Previous owner said new out drive put on in 1999(Boat and motor 1988).
1.94 0A897105 numbers on out drive
00423236 numbers on bell housing???
