I do not know the the people personally, but a very good friend of mine does. This is very tragic, it happened right after fueling up tonight and all of details are not in yet. One girl was thrown from the boat and her body has not been found yet. Please... no bashing or arm chair quarter back...
So I finally got the Reinell out for a good run last weekend and played in some light wave action. On the way back in it was some 1 to 2 foot chop on Lake Erie. I was heading straight into them and was surprised that even with the trim tabs all the way down she still kinda hit hard at times...
I know I saw this on here but searching in the forums and on the Iboats store I cannot find it. I would like to put a remote trim switch on my transom to help while she is on the trailer.

My friend recently purchased a Baha 230 fisherman. The bow rises bad when getting on plane and has a fairly hard time going into waves larger than 2 to 3ft.

I am going to replace the water pump and have the Merc manual. It says the shift shaft needs to be removed from the gear housing before dropping it. I cannot find anywhere in the manual that states how to do that. Any help is appreciated
