    i just installed a new clutch dog in my '72 25 hp evinrude. i did it as the book said with the line facing toward the forward gear but looking at it i really don't see any difference. i have since bought a used longshaft lower end and upon checking out the gears for wear i noticed the clutch dog...

    Motor "Missing" how to fix?

    i have a 1975 25hp Evinrude that has not been run much in the last 5 or 6 years. It seems to have some kinda "miss" but only at higher RPMs, it idles fine and i trolled with it for about an hour....no problem but once i throttle it up it starts the missing thing. Any ideas? God bless, Chris
