My late 80's 5HP has a shifter so stiff I cannot shift it without using a "cheater", simply a length of pipe slipped over the shifter to increase the leverage. I am afraid I might break comething if I continue to use it. No amount of penetrating oil seems to have any affect. Is there some way...
