    Has anyone put Volvo exhaust manifolds on mercruiser engines? I can get whole set for 400 for center output rather than 850 for old log style manifolds. If so do you have schematic how water hose should go?

    Just wondering if I am overloading my outdrive. I have a 1973 Jolly Roger speedboat with a 233 hp 351 ford with a 888 outdrive. I am running a 17 pitch prop that tops the boat out at approx 55. Will the outdrive ratio 1.5 vs 1.32 give me issues?

    What speed should I get?

    I have a 1973 Jolly Roger 17 feet long with a 233 merc with a 888 outdrive. I took it out last year on a flat glass lake and got to approx 60 mph. I dont have a gps but i could pull away from the jetskiiers pretty easily. What I would like to know is am I just crazy or does this sound right?
