I'm the new owner of a 16ft Whaler Dauntless with a 2000 Merc 90 2 stroke..the engine has a 8 inch small diameter rubber tube connected to a fitting in the lower portion of the motor..this tube has a plug in it and just flops around in the water...is this normal ..what is it??
