    Clutch dog chattering

    I have a 1990 evenrude 115 that skips in and out of gear at some speeds. Can I fill the lower unit with heavy lube as a temp fix until I get a new engine?...Ed

    1990 Evinrude 115 jumps out of gear

    When I shift into fwd the engine bucks and seems to jump in and out of gear at speeds over idle up to about 4K rpm. Reverse works OK. Somebody mentioned a gromet in the shift linkage? Any help apperciated! Thanks...Ed Powers
