I am considering purchasing a boat that has twin Yanmar 230 HP diesel engines. The boat was built in 1998 and these are the original engines.
I wonder if anyone here can educate me on how serviceable an engine this old is in today's world.

I am considering purchasing a Penn Yan 339 with a tunnel hull and twin Yanmar diesel engines. Is the tunnel hull as horribly inefficient as many say? Can someone knowledgeable please educate me on this subject?
