We replaced the water pump impeller on the 1971 Merc 1150. It shifts into fwd and neut. but not into reverse by using the helm control. If we lift the eng. cover we can manipulate the linkage and the unit will shift into reverse. We've (we think) run out of cable adjustment. Any advice on...
