I'm interested in a boat in South Lake Tahoe CA and want to buy it, but being told I will have to pay 8.85% sales tax which is ridiculous considering AZ has no sales tax on private party purchases. Can anyone point me in a direction as to how I might avoid this? I was told by some at the CA tax...
