I have a 2001 merc 25 that I just changed the impeller on. Put it all back together and it will not shift into reverse. Took it all apart again and put it back together worked once and then wouldn't go into reverse. Any ides?
I'm in the process of switching my 90hp Johnson over to premix. I took off the VRO hose and I am sealing it with a bolt and pipe thread. What do I do with the wires to the VRO tank and do I need to do anything with the VRO pump on the engine?
I have a 2000 Johnson 90 and I'm going to use it for pulling ship's lines and oil booms. I've got to replace the prop anyways and was wondering what would be a good pulling prop for that motor.
I have a 2001 Merc 25. When I run long ditances 15 miles+ and then bring it too and idle the engine sound hot and the discharge feels hot. There is definitly a lot more sqeaking of the bearings. Rebuilt the water pump but no change. Is this normal?
I have a 2000 90 Johnson that I plan to use for commercial work. I don't know whether to trust the oil injection or mix it myself. If I decide premix what's the ratio and how do I disable the oil injection?
