    Upper shift shaft seals

    Should I have another bushing on the top there? My replacement seal seems a bit too big to just pop into the old hole. Is this another style maybe? This is a 1991 bayliner, 3.0. I believe it's the alpha one, Gen 2 http://i.imgur.com/mSD8Hgw.jpg

    Shift Cable behavior while adjusting

    I have a 1991 3.0L with Alpha One. The shift cable were not attached when I bought it, so I did the whole procedure of measuring the 6", having someone hold the prop, etc. But while adjusting everything I seem to only get reverse and neutral, or neutral and forward.
