I was running across the lake at 3/4 to full throttle with a heavy load (about 8 people) in the boat. Motor was running well at 4,000 to 4,500 rpm. Then rpm began to fall with no missing or sputtering of the motor, and eventually there was no power. Engine smelled like something was burning...
