    I have an 87 omc1.8l seadrive outboard, I think comparable to a Evinrude/Johnson 135 v4, haven't been able to get a good crank on the engine so I got a different battery out of my other boat that cranked verry well, that did nothing. Replaced the starter with one off eBay same really slow crank...

    2000 bayliner 125 mercury no spark

    Brought the boat out of storage, started at first, next day no start, no spark out of the plugs. Tested stator as I believe to do, ohm test green/white- white/ green, got nothing. The charging yellow wire had conductivity. Does this mean the stator is shot? I unplugged the harness and jumped...
