    Impeller 85 force outboard

    Hey guys, got an 85 force outboard, just got it, went to do an impeller swap and notice a little slot on the shaft and on the impeller, is this to connect the impeller to the shaft to make it spin? I don't have anything here, wondering if that's why I don't have any water coming out.
