So I'm not sure on the year, and I didn't get a chance to check out the serial number today, but I have a 8hp Mariner that runs great while idling, and will respond to throttle up until about 50% throttle, then stutters and dies. I replaced the fuel (brand new fuel, mixed 50:1 per manual)...
