So I just got an 87 us marine force 125 and the guy had drained the lower unit and said when he took out the drain plug he lost it but I figured no big deal ill just buy a new one but turns out it was the clutchpin bolt in the side not the drain plug and in the owners manual it says not to...
I just bought a used merc 65hp outboard with electric start I put idle lever all the way forward a pull the choke lever but it tries to start but won't run it just backfires from the exhaust and pops from the bottom Carb. Any thoughts.
