I have a 1965 9.5HP Johnson. It runs fine with the hood off. As soon as I sit the hood down on it, she dies.<br /><br />I actually thought it might be an exhaust leak, but I checked the gasket with a soap solution and found no leaks.<br /><br />I can't find where the hood is pinching any fuel...
