    help-oil is leaking out around impeller on bottom end of 1983 50 hp merc outboard.

    Just wondering if anyone can tell me why oil could be leaking out around impeller on bottom end of 1983 50 hp mercury outboard. Also, how much oil is needed to refill once leak fixed. thanks so much for any help. thank you.
