Hi ... question..... I have a 1976 Mercury 200/ 20 horsepwer out board.... my question is I can start the motor in gear..(forward) is that damageing anything???? and can i do something so it wont start in gear,,,,thanks again....
Ive got a (4351995) 1976 merc outboard 200/ 20 horse ....it has good compression 100 psi... both cyl... the motor has sat for 2 yrs... i ran fresh premium gas with the 50:1 mix as well as a Can of Sea foam... in 6gallon tank....almost noticeable improvement... any way now i cant...
