I have a later 60's merc 60 6hp twin. I am trying to replace the prop shaft seal but am having issues removing the carrier nut. I have read just to tap it with a screwdriver in the direction the that the nut is stamped with ( clockwise for off ) but I am not getting it to budge.. I can tell...
