i have a 1966 evinrude 6hp outboard .. it was great to me.. i was running it in the lake.. i turned it off to fish.. when i went to start it back... it did not want to budge.. no matter how many pulls.. i paddled in.. went home.. checked for spark... has spark... checked gas.. have gas mixture...
