    In the pre start diagnostic my tach needle goes to 1000 rpm then my rev limit light flashes 5 times. I can start the boat with no problem other than it is not charging the battery. What does this blinking light mean? and how can I correct it?

    Suzuki DF 70 not charging battery

    I have a 2000 Suzuki DF 70 four stroke. When I turn key the diagnostic runs and the beep sounds, the tach needle jumps to 1000 rpm and the rev limit switch blinks five times.
