Thank you for reading. I just bought a 72 muskie with the 69 evinrude.. The impeller needs changed so i removed the 4 bolts holding the lower up.. Even with some aggresive tugging i cant get the lower to drop out.. The only facter i can see to be the cause is a bolt right above the propeller...
