I have a 1983 115hp evinrude and it is knocking at idle, if I put it in gear it will get louder with higher rpms and then it will lock up and kill the motor. I can get the motor unlocked by spinning the flywheel backwards and then it will start back up. It still knocks after I get it to restart...
