I have a 40 hp Mercury Outboard on a 20' Pontoon that stars fine and runs perfect for about an hour ( cruising at 3000-3500 RPM) but then the engine changes tone and stalls. Doesn't cut off, but will only idle, won't take throttle.
Have hooked up spare 6 gal fuel tank, same thing happens. Oil...
