Recently acquired a 1976 3 cyl 65 hp Merc.
Ran perfectly at test run, got it home and wouldn't hit a lick...No spark.
Ordered Seloc book and did all the tests noted therein.
Trigger is toast. Stator and coils test within spec. Further inspection noted trigger wiring inside heat shield...
