    Is it bad if Gearcase oil is not changed before winter?

    I have a 2002 mercruiser 4.3 litre v6 engine with a alpha one outdrive. I have winterized my boat.......draining all 5 plugs (running anti-freeze through block and outdrive), changing filters, and fogging. The only part I did not do was change the gear lube oil. Will this be a major problem...

    Think I missed the 5th drain plug....PLEASE HELP

    I have a 2002 mercruiser 4.3 litre v6 engine. Had my first winter and found 4 drain plugs to release the water. A lot of water came out and also poured antifreeze through the 4 hoses and watched it come out the drain holes. also poured antifreeze in hoses with plugs in and watched it come out...
