    305 needs replaced, Found a 98 350 Vortec Problems?

    I have a 88 305 one piece rear main seal that needs to be replaced, bottom end out. I found a 98 Vortec 350 that has been rebuilt then wrecked, it has less than 500 miles on it (truck) Whan kind of problems am I looking at if I use this motor for the swap?

    Project Boat, 288 cobia 1981 305 not original, beleive it has a car cam

    First post but been following this forum for awhile. I picked up a Cobia that has a sound hull but needs some motor work. The casting is a 1988 Camero. When the motor was assembled it looks like they reused the rocker nuts. Two had backed off bending two push rods. I had the heads checked...
