    How do you take apart the shift linkage on a 1998 Evinrude 25 HP ouboard( E25TKLECA)

    Hi, a friend of mine and I are trying to repair the water pump in a 1998 Evinrude 25 HP 20 inch shaft motor. It's a 3 cylinder, and we need to take apart the shift linkage. Where exactly is the shift linkage? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for the help!
