My 1999 Mercruiser 3L I/O Alpha one Gen 2 seems to be getting louder just like a car with a bad muffler. This boat is in the saltwater 24/7 could the exhaust manifold have deteriorated from the salt water and cause it to be louder? Anyway to check them besides pulling them? Other thoughts?
