Does anyone if the carbs from a 1996 (J40TLEDS) will work on a 1986 (J40ELCDE)? my carbs are beyond repair, someone previos tightened the jets in so tight and stripped them in and i found two carbs on an intake manifold with the leaf valves for $40. I know the newer carbs are a two peice body...
