My father's old Avenger boat has a still decent 1970 Kiekhaefer Mercury 1150 Two-Stroke I6, but the poor thing hasn't had a tune up in almost 40 years now. About 20 years ago now, he had all three carbs rebuilt, the coil replaced (had developed a hole) and I think a new starter.
