I have a 2008 F115 that is experiencing an RPM loss to around 2000-2500 rpms. To date I have had the following done by a Yamaha mechanic:
Fuel system flushed
replaced fuel filter
Fuel injectors cleaned
Added a new water/fuel seperater
Replaced the fuel filter
Lowered the oil level
Checked plugs...
