The last time I had the boat out I noticed bubbles coming up from the lower unit. I ran it at home today with the ear muffs on and I saw water blowing out by one of the rear bolts that hold the lower unit on. The bolt is not loose so I think there might be a hole. My question...
I have a 1996 Mercury 5hp engine. The engine is very clean and starts on 1st or 2nd pull. After the engine is warm and I shut it down it is difficult to restart, and when I check spark plug it is wet. What could cause the restart problem? I am also looking for a maintenence manual for this...
I just purchased a 1996 5hp Mercury, after running it in water tank for the first time, I see oil in the water. there was also quite a bit of smoke while running. Any ideas?
