    Yamaha 50 only 4200 RPMs at WOT less if Loaded

    I have a 92 50HP 2 Cycle 3 Cylinder Yamaha on a 16ft bass boat that will only get 4200 RPMs at WOT with 1 in the boat. With 2 and gear runs at 3800 RPM. Also it is a little tough to get on plane.     50HP won't go into reverse in water only, out it works fine

    92 Yamaha 50 goes into reverse fine out of water, but will not it water unless you really really work it into gear.
