    firing oder for 228. Will a car distribitor work on this motor since its a chevy 305. Wanted to put electronic on.

    Mercruiser 228 no spark?

    Grandfather gave me his 1975 Mark Twain with 77-78 mercruiser 228 in it. There is no spark coming out of coil. Check coil with meter and shows good. Any ideas? How do I get the old motor oil removed? Oil looks milkey could this be from sitting for 5 yrs? Thanks Jason

    Johnson 25 hp head gasket

    Had to have head machined down .015 after I blew a head gasket. Is there anyone that makes a oversized gasket. Its a Johnson 25 hp 1980. Electric start. What is the factory thickness of gasket and what will the new thickness need to be. Thanks Jason Edwards
