    Motor starts very easily,idle is very rough. Been told that is the nature of the 3 cyl? Runs very smooth once you raise the rpms a little bit. Shift lever is very hard to move, assume it is a cable problem ? Not sure I want to attempt replacement, sprayed the end of cable with a penetrating...

    90 hp Mecury , 2000 model,has not had alot of use.

    This motor starts easily, runs great, but idle is very rough. A local outboard repairman said that is normal for that 3 cylinder motor. Any one out there who can give me their opinion? Thanks,Jim

    looking for owners manual

    I recently purchased a 2000 Bayliner Trophy model 1703. The owner had it in storage for several years,it looks almost new. I would like to have an owners manual for it. He said a divorce was involved,and "she" probably threw it away along with a lot of other things.

    90 hp merc, very hard to shift

    Very hard to shift,have lubed inside the shift housing ,no improvement. Probably need to replace cable,which I have been told is not easy? Is anything on a boat ever easy! Info would be appreciated
