I have a 1985 Merc 181. I have all the parts removed in order to pull the head; however, I cannot separate the exhaust manifold from the head. I've been using a hammer and big flathead screwdriver. Am I being too wimpy? I just wanted to check with someone before I started with the chisel and...
I have a 1985 4 Winns with a 140 Merc 4-cyl.
Has been a great boat for years.
I was running it in the driveway on muffs for about 20 minutes.
Went back out and noticed that the hose had popped off the muffs.
I turned it off and let it cool; then re-attached the hose.
It doesn't start any longer...
