OK, i have a 1975 40hp johnson. while replacing the water pump i ran into a couple issues. the driveshaft is stuck in the head but the lower unit came off. i tried hanging it upsidedown and everything. so i came up with another plan i sliced the middle unit in two places so i can slide it around...
