I have a fresh rebilt merc 470 with a new carb and pertronix ignition sys I have statically timed the eng for 10 deg ( 8 called for ) crab is set at 1 1/4 mixture it has an electric choke set at 5/16 the eng runs but I can not get the idle down past 12/1300 rpm in order to fine tune without it...
